From hatchery to tideflat, every harvest starts with something incredibly small. Each time we plant, it is the beginning of a new generation on the farm.
Geoduck seed starts out incredibly small. Small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand!
From here, they have a lot of growing to do…
Planting
Each tube is carefully planted by hand, with just a few geoduck seed placed inside. These tubes protect the seed for the first few years of life before being pulled to allow for further growth.
With thousands of tubes across the farm, it takes a lot of hands to make quick work of pulling tubes, cleaning & replacing them, then planting seed inside.

Harvest
With nature, time and a little help from the farmers who care for them, that teeny tiny seed turns into the geoduck we harvest from our farm.
From a few millimeters to a couple of pounds!
From Seed to Harvest
Every geoduck harvest begins with something incredibly small.
From hatchery to tideflat, nature, time and the hands of our farmers work together to grow geoduck on the farm.
